PERSONAL INFORMATION NICKNAME: She prefers to go by her middle name, Sofia or Allie rather than Alica (pronounced Ahl-IH-sah). She'll still answer to Alica however, but not before correcting said person as to what name she prefers. AGE: Twenty-one GENDER: Female SEXUALITY: Demisexual- Due to her light, cheerful nature, Sofia tends to toy with people and enjoy being friends with them rather than take the relationship to the next level. She is actually a bit afraid of commitment and though she’s a romantic at heart, the thought of a boyfriend and dating scares her to a point. As such Sofia has to trust the person and have some sort of bond with them before she’ll even think about considering something more than a friendship. PLAYBY: Kingdom Hearts ~ Kairi
PERSONALITY INFORMATION POSITIVE: - Optimistic- Sofia tends to look on the bright side of things no matter what the situation. Her optimism can be considered overbearing at times but she has the best of intentions and thinks that everyone should learn to look on the bright side at least sometimes. She doesn’t like being around pessimistic people because of this and the fact that she’d probably end up punching them in the end for finding a dark side to every little aspect of life.
- Upbeat- Perky is the best word to describe Sofia in all actuality, she comes across as a bright cheerful girl who has never shed a tear or worked a day in her life. Sofia’s upbeat nature is only part of who she is however but she would certainly never turn down a chance to do something spontaneous or fun. She can be rather…unpredictable at times, especially when she gets a new ‘fun’ idea that she wants to try.
- Fun-loving- There is no such thing as too much fun for this girl. Be it something as simple as a tea party to bungee jumping off a bridge, Sofia will be all for it nine times out of ten. Some may consider her a dare devil but in all actuality, she just likes to have fun…though her definition of ‘fun’ can be a little bit extreme at times.
- Good with her hands- Sofia loves working with her hands and seeing the finished project that she helped accomplish. Since she was young Sofia has been building things such as twig birdhouses, mats woven out of grass or something similar to it, and even her own robot dog. Working with her hands helps her to think and is one of the few times Sofia’s more serious side can be seen.
- Compassionate- Sofia genuinely cares about others and loves to help out wherever and whenever she can. She’s the type of person who would sit and just listen for hours on end if the other person just needed to talk. In her eyes there is no reason why someone can’t help others out when it’s evident that they’re upset. This does not mean that Sofia is gullible and will believe every sob story she hears but she will try to help where she can and if she’s able to.
- Loyal- Never leave a man behind might as well be Sofia’s motto. Whenever one of her friends is in trouble she will drop whatever she is doing to go help them. She’ll stay by her friends’ side through thick or thin and not care about the consequences such an action might have. Sofia may certainly be a lot of things but once she calls you her friend, she will be a loyal friend as long as you still want her around.
- Social- Sofia is a social butterfly to say the least of things. Parties, festivals, you name it and she’s usually one of the first people on the list to attend. She loves being a part of things and getting to know other people and rarely runs out of things to say. Really the question is if you can get her to shut up.
- Intelligent- Don’t judge a book by its cover certainly rings true for Sofia. Like her brother, Sofia loves anything to do with math and science, especially if it’s something she can do with her hands. Math and science or really anything that has to do with numbers come rather easily to Sofia, she especially loves being able to use her knowledge while working on a project. Nothing excites her more than being able to use a complicated equation to solve a rather tedious assignment. Sure it might be sound like a foreign language to anyone who happens upon her at the time but it’s just the way Sofia thinks.
- Honest- If there’s one thing Sofia is not, it’s a liar. She certainly won’t go around telling her life story to everyone she meets but Sofia will tell the truth to the best of her ability. Sofia’s honesty also goes towards her work; she won’t charge any more or less than is absolutely necessary, especially if she knows the family or person in question is having a difficult time where money is concerned. Sure she might take some cuts herself but Sofia refuses to scam other people even if it would benefit her in the long run.
- Diligent- Once Sofia sets her mind to do something, she won’t stop until the project or activity is accomplished. She does her best in everything she does from start to finish and refuses to let her own fatigue or exhaustion take away from the quality of her work. If it takes a little longer to ensure that the quality is there then so be it. Sofia pays attention to detail and won’t cut corners just to get the job done faster. Sure she would get paid faster and be done with the job a lot quicker but her work and reputation would have suffered as a result and that is the one thing Sofia will not do.
NEGATIVE: - Forgetful- Sofia can be a bit of an airhead at times; one moment she will be hard at work at a project and the next she’ll completely forget what she was doing. This happens more than she would care to admit but this is why she keeps notes around and keeps track of almost everything she does. Sometimes she’ll walk into a room and get distracted by something only to forget what she had come in for to begin with. It frustrates her to no end but it’s something that Sofia has learned to deal with, mostly because of how often she tends to forget things.
- Blond- Sofia is probably the blondest red head you will come across. As smart as she is, Sofia sometimes misses things that should be rather obvious. She has her moments when something simply just doesn’t make sense to her no matter how many times it’s explained to her. This doesn’t happen all that often but it certainly makes Sofia flail and want to smack herself when she realizes how silly she was being.
- Tactless- Sofia tells it like it is and doesn’t like to mince words. If someone is being an idiot she will tell them exactly that without regard for their feelings…at least initially. She tends to speak first and think later which often gets her into trouble more often than not. Sofia can be brutally honest but then again if people wanted a fluffy version of the truth they should have gone to someone else.
- Clumsy- Accident prone doesn’t even come close to describing how clumsy Sofia can be. She tries to watch what she’s doing but more often than not ends up with more cuts, scrapes, and bruises then was necessary. Sometimes she simply forgets that she used that particular board to support the entire pile or that the cookie sheet was just pulled out of the oven. It’s just another part of life and really who cares if she gets a little beat up, she just needs to be a little more careful.
- Fear of commitment- Possibly because she was constantly moving around during her teen years, Sofia has a hard time getting close to people in general. Sure she makes friends easily enough but rarely do any of them get to know her more than on a more superficial level so to speak. The one relationship she did have ended rather…poorly to say the least and was the reason she ended up back in Pastora Valley in the first place. Needless to say she is leery of such a relationship again to the point that the label of ‘boyfriend’ or ‘girlfriend’ legitimately scares her. She doesn’t want a repeat of what happened with Donny and thus keeps most everyone at arm’s length lest she be hurt again.
- Stubborn- Once Sofia sets her mind to something one would be hard pressed to change it. She can be rather bull-headed at times and won’t change her mind no matter what someone else says. Having grown up by herself for the most part, Sofia believes that her way is the best and only way to do things. After all her way has worked thus far so why should she change it if there’s nothing wrong.
- Naïve- Sofia tends to take things at face value and believe what other people say. She believes that people are generally good and as such Sofia can be taken advantage of rather easily. Despite growing up in some adverse circumstances, Sofia is rather innocent when it comes to things like love or the harsher truths of the world. She can be rather gullible at times because of this considering Sofia prefers to believe that people are honest as she is about things. Needless to say this mindset ends up getting her in trouble sometimes and leaves her feeling hurt and betrayed when she is taken advantage of.
- Uncooperative- Sofia prefers to work alone rather than on a team. She’s done just fine by herself thank you very much so there is no reason why she should have to depend on another person. She’ll certainly work together (albeit reluctantly) with another person if there is no other alternative but Sofia can be a bit…bossy in such a situation. This is especially evident when Sofia doesn’t get her way. Childish as it may seem, Sofia will absolutely refuse to listen to anything the person has to say unless she is heard or even gets her way.
- Temper- Sofia has a very short fuse when it comes to others. Thankfully it does take a bit to get her to the point where she’ll explode but if Sofia is annoyed with you it’s best to back off. She has a rather cute (if hilarious) habit of puffing out her cheeks when she’s indignant or about to blow her top. Chances are if you see this hilarious display you are about two seconds away from getting a hammer thrown at you or some other type of blunt instrument. Once Sofia has reached her boiling point she will refuse to speak to the offender for weeks on end until they apologize or something else changes.
- Impatient- Sofia has very little patience to sit and wait around for something to happen. If she goes to an event she will be on time, or even early and expects everything and everyone else to start on time as well. She absolutely hates having to wait for anyone and thus expects people to be on time should they wish to speak to her or employ her services. Though she’s not such a stickler as to expect people to be on time every minute of every day, Sofia does tend to be a little…short with those that are constantly late and make her wait around as a result. The only exception to the rule seems to be when she is working on a project, it is the only time she will refuse to rush no matter what else is going on.

OTHER INFORMATION HISTORY: From Sofia's earliest memory her home had always been Pastora. She had been born and raised in the peaceful valley and grew to love it there. She grew up in Pastora Valley and followed her brother, Ulric around much like a lost little puppy would. Sofia adored her brother and strove to be like him in every way, it didn't matter that Ulric was a boy, she just wanted to be exactly like her big brother. As the years passed, Sofia started school and even helped out her mom and dad with their work a few times (more often than not when asked to). In truth, she had no patience to sit still and sew in near silence with only music or conversation to pass the time. No, Sofia liked being outside with her brother building things or bouncing ideas off him. They both shared the same interests it seemed and Sofia loved being able to talk to someone about her love of building things and the math and science required to do such a thing. It was obvious that neither her mom nor dad really understood what she was saying when she asked about 'simple' math equations.... Honestly it was like talking to air at times with them and thus Sofia tended to ask Ulric the 'tough' questions. Ulric had become more than her brother, he was her friend and confidant and someone who actually understood where she was coming from. Sofia continued to learn more about science and how to build simple things such as doors or windows to begin with. Sure it was time consuming but it was far more difficult than the birdhouses her parents suggested she make. Of course by this time they had several homemade birdhouses, each different, and all designed (and painted) by Sofia when she was younger. It was around this time that Ulric had gotten a job as an apprentice to an inventor. When Sofia had first heard the news, she was happy for her brother and more than willing to help him out if he needed it. Her own little after school projects (she was currently making her own version of a doghouse) could certainly wait after all. Their life in Pastora was wonderful and Sofia thought that it would always be this way. She was wrong however...one day when Sofia was around 12 years old, her parents declared that they were moving. Needless to say the girl was heartbroken and pleaded, even begged for her parents to let her stay with Ulric but they wouldn't hear of it. She was just too young, whereas Ulric was an adult and could do what he wanted. Thus it was with a heavy heart that Sofia left Pastora and moved away to wherever her parents' whims led them. Sofia grew distant from her parents after this...certainly she still did as she was told but she hated them (or so she told herself) for uprooting her as easily as they had done. They might have enjoyed moving around but Sofia hated it...she had no friends and any she did make she had been forced to leave soon after. It was this constant moving around that possibly formed the beginnings of her fear of getting too close to someone lest she have to leave and be hurt yet again. When she was in her teen years, Sofia grew into a more rebellious phase where she would stay up all night off partying with some of her 'new friends'. She became more of a wild card and even stole the hearts of quite a few guys. This phase of sorts would continue until she happened across a boy named Donny...or that was what Sofia called him. One of her favorite things to do was think of quirky nicknames for people and since Donovan didn't like 'Donald Duck', Donny was a better match. Donny liked Sofia's fiery personality and her whimsical nature and decided to try and get close to her. They started going out a few times and at first Sofia had a great time but that was before she found out they were moving again. As many times as Sofia had had to say goodbye before, somehow this was harder....Donny had something that none of the other guys had… She truly cared for him and the way he made her feel special…something nobody had been able to do since she had first left Pastora Valley. Reluctant to leave him behind, Sofia asked her parents if she could stay just like Ulric had in Pastora but unfortunately they said no once again; she was once again ‘too young’ and hadn’t shown the responsibility that Ulric had. At first Sofia tried to hide the fact that she was leaving from Donny but he could tell right away that there was something wrong and called her out on it. When she finally did tell him, Sofia was taken aback by how angry Donny became, yelling at her for even daring to keep something like this from him. This was the first time Sofia had seen Donny this way and it truly scared her…and for the first time in a long time, she was glad that they were leaving by the end of the week. This wasn’t the last she would hear from Donny however as the boy had decided to follow Sofia to their next town. At first, Sofia was delighted to have someone she actually knew in town but as time passed, Donny only continued to grow possessive and jealous of anyone else who held Sofia’s attention for more than five minutes. The behavior she had witnessed in the previous town had been but a small taste of what she saw the next few months. One night, Donny had taken her on a date and was walking her back home when Sofia mentioned that they were moving again the next day. They had been getting ready for weeks but Sofia had been reluctant to mention it to him after his reaction the last time and as it turned out she had every reason to be. The next thing Sofia knew, she was in the mud while Donny stood over her, his hand still clenched in a fist while he yelled at her for not telling him sooner. Frightened, Sofia ran straight home and prayed that she would never see Donny again. Her prayers went unanswered however when Donny appeared in the next town. This time however she immediately told her parents and begged them to let her go back to Pastora; it was the only place she had really called home and Ulric would certainly be there. They agreed to the plan, albeit reluctantly, and gave Sofia enough money to get her started as well as a bus ticket to the town, or at least somewhere nearby. Thus Sofia took the money, packed up her few belongings, and went on the next bus out of town and didn’t stop once until she reached Pastora. Once she reached Pastora, she sought out the local carpenter and asked if she could become an apprentice or be offered a job as one, it would certainly help earn money so she wouldn’t be too much of a burden on Ulric…should he still be in Pastora. The carpenter agreed after giving Sofia a few tasks to do, impressed with how well she did on the first try and even offered her a full time job doing whatever work was required of her. Sofia was all too glad to accept such an offer, eager to work with her hands yet again after so many years of constant travelling. With any luck, she would be able to find her brother as well and maybe…just maybe, things would be as they had been before. FEARS: - Thunder
