It was pretty obvious to anyone that her key had broken off in her door. ”Thank you, for that important piece of information. A more helpful use of your breath would be to tell me how to go about fixing it?” The man gave her a bored expression with a shrug, ”No one is at the desk, so I think you’re out of luck.” before going back into his own room he gave her a once over and parted with, ”Nice pajamas.” Corrine flushed, a combination of anger and embarrassment, as he shut the door and went on with his morning. ”This is why I don’t get up early.” she muttered while running a hand through her messy ponytail. She had gotten up early that morning to perhaps go explore the town a little more and see how she would be able to go about setting up her shop. However, no morning was complete without breakfast. Especially a morning for Corrine. After she had left her room and locked the door, she had realized she had forgotten her small notebook on the nightstand and feeling rather naked without it, she was about to go back in and retrieve it. The key had other plans though and decided that breaking in half in the door would be fun! The annoying neighbor had only added to this morning’s festivities and she was still in her pajamas; a solid blue tank top and pajama pants with music notes. Now, these pants wouldn’t be so bad if there weren’t kittens batting and chasing the music notes. The woman let out a sigh and ran through her options, she could wait it out in the lobby until there was someone at the desk but her stomach automatically protested that wait. She debated for about a minute before mumbling, ”Screw my pride.” and going down the stairs and outside the inn to find a café or restaurant that was perhaps open this early. Making her way out into the street she managed to find a small cafe that looked to be open, but they would have possible been people who hated the morning like her. Still, it couldn't hurt to check. Corrine pushed the door opened and called out, "Hello? Is anyone here?" Glad in all her pajama glory. WORDS! 398 TAGS! Zeeeeeeee! NOTES!....sorry, corri. | |

[/right] Well, technically... the shop wasn't suppose to be open yet. It was opening day, yes- a happy day, of course. A day, also, where a certain brunette should waited for his best buddy and co-owner for. But damn it, excitement override logic and in his defense, he was pretty sure no-one would be wandering around at this time. Usually, he wouldn't be up at this hour; Ze preferred late mornings or waking up noon. Who didn't? Really, sometimes he wondered how ranchers like Mikhail could manage with their schedules of waking up early to take care of their ranch. He'll wouldn't last a day. Sorry, Emma... He thought, with a slight twinge of guilt- but really, the cafe was just... so... If he wasn't embarrassed to do so, he would of done a little excited squeal and his happy dance- but he restrained himself from doing so. While he was pretty sure no one around to see, he wasn't risking. Fumbling a bit, he unlocked the cafe doors, and slipped in. Okay, it was safe now- "This... oh man, I wasn't dreaming!" He murmured, running his hands across the smooth marble and his face lit up like a child who was just given the greatest present of all time. Really, considering Ze and his antics, that was an accurate description of what he felt. And really, he gotten the feeling that it'll be the case every time he walked in. While some people could find it silly, it was a dream of Ze to open a cafe shop. Or anywhere that had to deal with cakes! And now its coming true... Letting out a small excited squeak, he dashed back into the kitchen- now that he was here, it was a good of time as any to maybe start making a fresh batch of pastries. Or should he make coffee first...? Or mayb- "..." He forgot to lock the door behind him, didn't he? What should I do? He knitted his eyebrows together and gave a frown- it would be easier to just go out and start serving the costumer... but then, what Emma? He would assume she would want to be here for their first one. But it would also be rude to just stand here and wait for the woman to leave. And they didn't have any sweets prepared either! Damn. He sighed, muttering "...I just had to come in this morning without her, didn't I?". Welp, best to go greet the costumer, eh? Peeking out of the door leading to the kitchen, he gave a bright smile, "Hm? Yes, actually I am~!" Giving a once-over -- either someone was lazy or that how she dressed-- but decided not to comment, and slipped out from behind the door. "Um... well, hello there Miss... I wasn't expecting anyone to pop in actually. Um, er..." Petting himself down, it struck him that he didn't have anything to jot down orders and stuff- where did he leave that? He remember Emma placing them somewhere.... "Well, we're ain't open yet, but... um, take a seat and you can order- just... uh, I hope you can wait, since I just gotten in and haven't bake or made any coffee yet..." So unprofessional, oh god.
