There were times during his infancy when his parents would shower him in superfluous articles of clothing and the occasional toy. As we all know, though, these things were useless once the child grew out of them or simply demanded that these toys be brought with them into the bathtub. Poor toys. His infancy was rather boring. Average, as many would expect from an average baby with average physical characteristics.During his earlier childhood, the only memory that can be brought up with little to no effort was when he was given a small silver coin from his father, whom he saw rarely. Seldom did the boy ever converse with his father, but during this rare moments, he would capitalize and talk to his father-figure. Their conversations would start off small with a “How you doing, champ” and eventually escalate into something more meaningful. With these occasional talks, the young boy learned many life lessons and always carried them with him wherever he went. They were taken to heart and he valued these “guidelines”, if you will, over anything others tried to cram into his head of his. The boy, who was raised to be a gentleman who cared for people but to encourage them with every ounce of inspiration in him, began his journey down a path which he would lead him into multiple obstacles. During his childhood which included his days in elementary school as well as middle school, he would often get into clashes with the supposed “cool kids”. The other children found their leadership over the weak-minded and the dumb lot where Tyrian would argue the illogical and cruel behavior of these kids, who were obviously the bullies. Ty found himself labeled as the outcast and spent most of his days alone, following multiple incidents in the fourth grade. He dreaded the feeling of having no one to be able to converse with. As a young child, he remembered being so active and leading the kids on adventures through imaginary forests and lands afar and there he sat. Alone. To pass the time, he joined the soccer team. There wasn’t much to his skillset at first but his unusual amount of free time gave him the opportunity to hone in on his skills. It wasn’t until he was thirteen that his coach finally noticed his improvement. With the added factor of it being his last year in middle school and the fact that he had been dedicated to the cause of being crowned a champion of a bunch of teenagers running around and kicking a ball, he was made captain of the team. It was something that wasn’t taken lightly. His effort on and off the pitch to improve not himself, but his team as a whole eventually lead him to a championship that fall. It wasn’t until he was thirteen until he met someone that had shared the same values of him. She was the “new kid on the block” or rather the new kid in school and found herself in that cliché phase of being scared and quiet. She coincidentally sat at the same table as the young fiery redhead who was left alone by his teammates after a quick discussion to play some soccer during their lunch break. At first she was timid and rather reserved compared to the talkative and friendly Tyrian. Her name was Annabelle. Eventually, he brought out her louder side and found out that she loved to run. Yes, she liked to run… for fun. It wasn’t something Tyrian enjoyed about the sport he loved, but he eventually developed a close bond with her and joined her on her 4AM runs before class started. Oh how he dreaded that. It was now time for high school, the big step before heading off into the real world and college. There wasn’t anything interesting about being in high school other than the fact that it was where Tyrian found the courage to ask Annabelle out and she accepted without hesitation. For four years they were seen around school holding hands and doing things that couples do. It wasn’t until his senior year where she broke the news to him that she’d be moving to some far off place which he couldn’t quite remember what it was called because he was too busy trying not to scream at the top of his lungs. With a final kiss goodbye, she left him and broke off their relationship, both of them knowing very well that long distance relationships rarely ever turned out well. Their entire future had been planned beforehand. He’d stay and become the coach at their local school and she’d work at the hospital and they’d grow old together. His dreams were ruined. Tears in his eyes, he receded into his home and contemplated a change in scenery. With her gone and his memories of her stuck in his head, he couldn’t bear to look anything in this town. After he graduated, he made up his mind to attend college off in some other quiet town and become a teacher; a gym teacher to be precise. He loved running too much to give it up for some pencil-pushing job in a cubicle. News of his ex-girlfriend being married to some hotshot off in who-knows-where made his chest ache. He wondered if he’d ever meet the girl of his dreams again but it was apparent that her dreams were realized with someone other than himself. College wasn’t the same after that. After a few years of the horrid college curriculum, he graduated and found himself on a train headed to Pastora Valley, where he had heard there was an opening. The town being extremely far from his current location, he decided that a permanent move into one of the apartments seemed like a better option than the expensive commute in and out of town. Thus began his journey into a life, a chance to rebuild himself anew and to meet a few more faces before his passing.
