She won't brush aside someone else's feelings and if they're hurt, she'll do what she can to make them feel better or at least to brighten their day.Refined; Emma was raised by her parents to be well mannered and the 'proper' young lady. Feminine and soft in her features, there isn't a violent bone in her body and she's not one to act irresponsible or disrespectful to anyone at any time. Even when being flirted with or feeling flirtatious with another, she keeps it 'classy' out of self respect and worry of crossing boundaries. Friendly; Through her travelling and living in two polar opposite areas during her 21 years, Emma has been exposed to enough people that she doesn't have hesitance or any problems with communicating with people of all personalities. Her gentle nature allows for her to wear a genuine smile and get along with most, even if they don't particularly like her or she doesn't quite fancy them. Creative; At times, the "make believe" world fascinates her more than reality, and Emma always keeps her mind open to new and exciting ideas. She allows for the books that she reads to carry her into a different place and thinks outside of the box, never wanting to see the universe in a black and white perspective but instead, in all of its marvelous colors. Spontaneous; The same routine every day doesn't satisfy Emma and she enjoys a chance in pace and schedule. Even if it's just something simple and not all that out of the ordinary, she doesn't want to live her life stuck in the same pattern and is willing to try different and intriguing things to add spice to her life. NEGATIVE: Stubborn; When her mind is set on something, it's nearly impossible to change any of what Emma feels on the matter. Her stubbornness at times gets her into trouble, due to the fact that she can become blind when it comes to the full picture, but needless to say-- once she achieves for something or fights for something with determination, she won't allow for anyone to get in her way on the matter.Jealous; While she's not someone to get jealous because someone is wearing a hat she's dying to get her hands on, when it comes to relationships Emma is quick to see someone as a threat to what she wants or a possible block in the path. If a close friend of her's seems to be giving one of their friend's higher priority over her in a casual situation, she'll feel ignored and grow envious of the other person if it persists. Same goes for a romantic relationship-- except, the fact that she gets very emotionally attached would cause her to worry that someone may be trying to steal them away and she'll lose them. Spoiled; It's not questionable that Emma was raised by two parents who pampered her beyond comparison. She was often given what she wanted before she truly knew that she wanted it. Emma's head is strayed enough from the clouds to know that people can't read her mind and she won't always get her way but its in her nature to expect more out of life than what an average person may and she's a little more difficult to please when dating a young man as well as her being choosy of who she dates. Distrusting; Something that Emma doesn't easily do is trust. Putting entire trust in another leads to vulnerability, which she fears and doesn't want someone to take advantage of her because she lowered her defensive walls. The only one that she trusts is herself, no one else. Their children were fortunate and born into a wealthy, well-kept family that never had to worry about financial struggle thanks to their father's position in business founded and equally owned with a college friend. Emma grew up being spoiled by her parents that would shower their 'princess' with all that she could ever hope for. Never dissatisfied and always pampered, Emma lived an easy childhood in her early years when everything seemed like painted pictures on the pages of a fairy tale book. While her father was often absent in her life, whenever she saw both her parents together there was a genuine love between them-- one that she often dreamed of finding her own someday, for she always looked up to her parents, never being given a reason to ever despise them. Both she and Daniel were taught by private tutors at home for their first handful of school years, having a decent enough social life because of their parent's gatherings to where their parents didn't find it harmful for the children to be schooled at home instead. Emma had a strong connection with her brother, given that he was the one she spent most time with due to her parents frequent outings, and grew rather attached to him over the years. The fantasy world set up around her was one that censored any of the family's problems from her own eyes and ears-- even looking back as a memory, the girl could never remember anything that may have been wrong back then because of how perfectly shielded away she was from it. Not until the year when she was 10 years old, the loss of her brother shattering the dynamic of the family and how it used to be. Yet, once more, the true reasoning behind it was always kept from Emma, her parents not wanting her innocent thinking of the world and how 'perfect' things were to be ruined by the truth. It was, presumably, an illness that didn't show symptoms immediately but over time grew worse before it was impossible to cure him. Devastated, Emma lost the person she was closest too, and the walls of the household that held the memories of her mother's son grew more painful than anything. Within the same year, her father was offered a deal to travel abroad in hopes of spreading the word of his business as well as gaining new locations for headquarters. That left both Emma and her mother alone, though after her father left it didn't take long before she decided to relocate her and her daughter to a new area, wanting a fresh start and to try forgetting about the loss of someone that could never come back. Their new beginning happened to be at Pastora Valley. It wasn't the same big house in the city, but still one of the larger homes suitable enough for the two. With the new valley came other changes-- one being going to an actual school... with other students her age. The idea terrified Emma and the girl tried to pretend being sick so she could get out of it, but the school ended up not being so bad. A huge relief. She was lonely, still having to cope with the lose of her brother, but as her mother began pursing dreams at Pastora Valley than she didn't do early on in her life, Emma also grew more as a person and ended up making a best friend by the name of Zephyr Wallace, who helped her gain back the happiness she let go of before. Through her teen years, Emma branched out more and gained interests that she had difficulty choosing between to make a living out of, and spent much of her final schooling years trying to decide Once she turned 18, Emma wasted no time and decided that she wanted to explore outside of the valley to gain more knowledge of the world. Wishing her mother and friends farewell, she left Pastora Valley for three years. Over the years, she encountered many new people as well as many exciting things, growing more as a person and learning more about herself. While she kept in touch with those that she could, many of her old friends ended up becoming memories of her school years, though her closest ones remained in good contact as well as her parents. Her father, Clark, always stayed with the family as long as he could during vacation weeks off from work since they moved to Pastora Valley and incredibly enough, years of him going back and forth between work and home and her parents were still close enough to where her mother waited until finally his years of travelling were completed. When Emma heard of her father coming home to stay, she felt homesick and decided to come back to the valley and catch up on things. Welcomed back with open arms, Emma rekindled with her family and caught up the old friends she still had-- including Zephyr, who she never once lost touch with and meeting up with him was just as though they'd seen each other the other day. The two ended up excitedly agreeing to open a Cafe together, which happens to be Emma's next chapter in her life story.
