[/right] He raised an eyebrow- he was? Oh... well, that's a pleasant surprise. Giving a slight smile, really had nothing to add beside a small hum "Oh really?" and instead, reach to pluck the instrument in the blond's hand- he could be polite and give a warning, but Ze was fidgety at this point. And he didn't like being so. He wasn't rude, just... aakwejnwejng- okay, he's stumming ukulele. Focus on that. Well, he wasn't expecting the blond to ask him about that... Indeed, Ze had his fair share of crushes on guys as much as girls- really, he wasn't biased on the whole thing, since he loved personality over all. But the sad thing, he wasn't as... well, adventurous when it came to guys. "...Well, I can't give a definite no? Never really been with a guy though..." He said, keeping his eyes focused on the small instrument at hand. Don't blame him- he grew up in a small town, and his parents, as loving as they were, didn't seem the type to be 'open' about that subject. Not that they stated it, but... the vibe was there. Maybe that would explain why he felt a bit nervous with the blond's flirts? That and he didn't really knew how to flirt back- hence nervousness, which lead to him going 'nopenopenope- not doing it' reaction (ex: him scooting away from Alex). It wasn't any thing personal, really... He took a few strums of ukulele, tempting to fix the awkwardness he must of caused. He wanted to... but oh gosh. Why did he get nervous easily? Especially with blond smiling at him.. Ze smiled back, watching him undo the braid- maybe, if the opportunity comes again, he get a chance to run his fingers through since the blond locks looked too... wjnegjkwe. He must say- the blond was pretty. Even for a guy... not that Ze saying a guy can't be pretty. Its just a first, so shuddup. He tilted his head, taking a moment to process what Alex said. ...Wait.. so he.. oh. Uh.. oh gosh. His quickly glanced down at his hands, his cheeks lighting up. Well- what number was it this time he's face gone red? 9th? 12th? He wasn't sure, but the muddy hair teen was making a habit of it. "O-oh, I have..." He licked his lip, fiddling with the ukulele strings before looking up shyly , "...Um, if you don't mind me asking... but why is that?" Ah, usher in the embarrassing 'why'- he couldn't help it. Really, Ze felt a bit messy next the blond. And his looks weren't the best, compare to some. But then again- he had his cooking, and singing, and... well, his ukulele-ing? That makes him at least.... desirable to some? ...who was he kidding.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:370px, bTable] little deaths in musical beds | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width:270px, bTable] Couldn't give a definite no? That translated to "yes actually, I do like guys" in Alex's head. And the smaller, but more narcissistic, voice inside him suggested that he was most probably interested in Alex. Of course. Because why wouldn't he be? They were the same age and Alex knew for a fact that he wasn't so bad on the eyes. Hell, Zephyr was probably purposely distracting himself with his ukulele so, like, he wasn't gazing fondly at him and his hair. Alex had spotted him eyeing his golden locks before so... yeah. So what if he was slightly conceited? Wasn't everyone in some degree? “Well, there's a first time for everything. You'll find a guy. And I bet you'll love it.” Alex told him, casually recovering the space Zephyr set between them and scooting closer again. “Actually... bet no, I know so.”
And there it was. Again. Zephyr was blushing for the umpteeth time already. Maybe the poor kid had, like, rosacea or something? “Why? You're asking why?” Alex couldn't help but chuckle quietly now as he turned his upper body slightly so he faced the pinkening man. With an amused smile that was so wide his marble white teeth peeked through, Alex lightly pinched one of Ze's red cheeks. “Because you're adorable, that's why. And you got some nice eyes.” Green like his. Alex's ego was maybe a bit more inflated than usual today. “And... you're pretty good with that ukulele thing. Your fingers look pretty skilled, y'know.” Zephyr probably didn't need to know what things Alex could imagine with those savvy fingers unless he wanted to die right then and there. But if he was able to read into the smirk that Alex's smile had morphed into, maybe he could draw himself up an idea of what improper thoughts were simmering in his mind.
Anyway. Alex rested his head down on Ze's shoulder, with that same pleased as punch look, and sighed. “And I like your face?” He offered, it sounding more like a suggestion than anything. “I usually go for the more... macho types but you seem like a charming exception.” C'mon. He was practically drowning the boy in unneeded compliments. If this didn't get him in bed or, at least, a little something... he'd need to change tactics.

[/right] Ze decided that screw it- why the hell was he acting so... well, like a dweeb? Okay, sure, he wasn't much of a flirty person, and it was quite obvious, the idea of someone be interested though not the concept of interest him and Alex shared, both gave him a bit confidence? Really, when he walked out his door this morning, he wasn't expecting this. But what else can he do, other than go with it? "Well, no arguing with you there... I always was a fan of trying new things." He paused with his strumming, deciding get more comfortable- yes, he noted that the blond was coming closer but he chose to ignore it. It wasn't anything bad, and really, he didn't mind if blond closer. He, instead gave a smile, his hands abandon the instrument to run them through the blond's hair again. This was a good enough excuse for him, so... um.. Er... Anyways.Ze gave a small, but obvious happy smile at the compliments- sure he asked why and got the reasons he guessed. Still.. it was a nice feeling. He squirmed a bit, at the cheek pinch- but gave a small chuckle. "Um, t-thank you..." He gave a pleased smile, "Your eyes are nice, too~! I mean, their the same color of mines, but... they look nicer on you..." He trailed off- and silently cursed. In his head, that sounded smooth, but instead it came embarrassing. And dorky. This is why he hated the flirting game. He gave a silent sigh, dropping his hand from the blond's hair again, and as expected, went back to fiddling with his ukulele. He also was mulling over comment about his fingers being 'skillful'... Hm, why did the hell did that sound... suggestive? Ze honestly was a bit surprise how okay with touch Alex was, even though they serious just met. But... he didn't mind to much. It wasn't anything inappropriate or to make his mother blush, so really, there was nothing wrong. Right? So the muddy-haired man didn't shrug off Alex's resting head, and instead gave a small, mock gasp. "Oh, I am? I'm honored." He chuckled, finally feeling comfortable, "I like your face too~" And that was trufax. Alex was handsome- or more so, pretty and... well, who doesn't like a good-looking person. Plus, the blond didn't seem to ignorant about, so that was another thing that he liked. If only Ze knew.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:370px, bTable] little deaths in musical beds | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width:270px, bTable] “A fan of trying new things? That sounds like something we've got in common, Ze!~” Alex chimed merrily, oblivious to how his new friend probably meant it in a more innocent fashion. New things for Alex was... doing it midday and in a forest, against a tree and praying to the highest power that no one had to stumble this way. He leaned with slight eagerness into Ze's hand when the boy finally started toying with his lush, flaxen tresses once again, rumbling his encouragements in a low, monotonous purr.
The boy with the chocolate coloured hair was really trying, Alex could tell. He had this air of awkwardness about him yet he was trundling on with his attempts to reciprocate the compliments. For that alone Alex gave him brownie points and a reassuring, light nudge with his shoulder. This had to mean sex, okay? He was getting his hair teased with and he was kinda getting compliments.
When Ze's hand left his locks once again, Alex impulsive twisted around on the spot so he was half-leaning over the man's legs with one hand splayed flat on the floor on the opposite side of his lap. Effectively fencing Ze in as he faced him. “Glad I came for this walk in the end... thought it was going to be pointless but...” He trailed off with a casual bounce of his shoulders. “...it hasn't turned out to be completely pointless.”
Leaning his weight on the hand placed on ground, Alex brought his other free hand up to gingerly curl Ze's tousled locks away from his face. His hair was seriously messy. It was as if he'd had a battle with a broken comb, lost and been cursed with bed hair as forfeit. “Can hardly see you with all... this.” He joked mirthfully. Hmm. "See". Truth was Alex didn't like getting hairs in his mouth. And... you could probably guess where he was about to take this.

[/right] He blinked, his eyebrows knitting together in confusion but he tried to quickly wipe it away- why was Alex... well, cornering him? Well, he wasn't so sure. It was playful, the smile and shrug of the shoulder...but, he was hinting at something, wasn't he? "... W-well, I'm glad to hear that!" He felt the nerve he manage to gather seeming to be slipping fast. He tensed a bit, and a gave an uncertain smile, "I mean...uh, I'm glad to meet ya too. Hope we'll more of each other in town... and again, I hope you like it." He was a bit flustered at the close distance, shyly playing with the strings of his ukulele; really, what he was scared of was saying and/or doing something to cause the blond sorta... He just didn't want to scare him off. Plus, he was pretty sure his cheeks were still was lingering pink and he was attempting to hide that too. Damn it- he starting to wish he put on some nicer clothes, or took a better shower or something. He didn't expect this- how in God's name was he suppose to guess that today was the day he'll stumble upon- or moreso, being stumbled a upon by some blond? Especially one made him feel a mix of confusion, slight embarrassment, a dash of a possible, hopefully reciprocated crush and a pinch of wari- oh, look. He was now speaking in kitchen lingo. Oh gosh... why? He wasn't ready. But like most thing, he never was. And thinking that Alex was cute didn't change the fact that he just met the blond. As annoying as it was to himself- and people too, at times- this was why he was so wary of flirting back. Back in highschool- it wasn't that big and he fairly well knew most of the people. He didn't have as much trouble with flirting then than at this moment- mostly because he didn't really flirt and won people over with personality... Also... "Um.... Alex...? Why are you... what are you doing exactly?" He tilted his head, sucking in his bottom lip, finally addressing his confusion to what the blond was doing. He didn't really catch what intents the blond had- the flirts, yes, but anything beyond a possible date hadn't crossed his mind. He wasn't as uncomfortable as he was before though. He relaxed his shoulders again, glancing up from his ukulele and when he made eye-contact he gave a simple smile. He deduced at this point that the blond was just touchy person... and honestly, he didn't mind as much as the beginning. You can even say that he was getting use to it at this- though hasn't been too long. But... he liked it when Alex tousled. Ze gave a small smile, and stuck out his tongue with a childish retort. "Shuddup- this here, its good how it is!" His hair was messy, yes, but it was the good-kind of messy... right? Though, he remember majority of the time Emma would complain and threatened his curly, untameable locks with those awful brushes, he didn't see the problem- and so he doesn't try to fix something that was absolutely fine. He patted down his hair, and shrugged. "Personally I think messiness looks good- wouldn't you agree?"
