Set in the sleepy town of Pastora Valley, our plot takes place during a bit of a crisis. As more and more people are moving in, more and more businesses and houses are pushing the boundaries of the town further out. The Harvest Goddess, considered an archaic deity and more of an ornamentation and tourist draw these days, has become saddened. Many ranchers know her depression is the reason they're not doing so well but most townspeople don't seem to notice. For the most part, they're not even aware of the complications their newfangled electric, telephone, and television lines as well as the newly laid railroad cut throughthe mountains have caused. This could mean very bad things indeed for not only their neighboring citizens on the outskirts of the main village, but eventually for them as well. Because it takes everyone working together for the betterment of all to happen. However, the increasing numbers of young folk have more on their minds than the environment - love is in the air practically year round here in the valley. Whether they're picking wildflowers in the spring, hiking in the heat of summer, watching the stars on a crisp autumn night, or having an all out snowball fight in the town square it's obvious that certain things are just the furthest from their minds. |
